CCAC South Bowling Finishes with a Bang at Region XX Tournament

The CCAC South Bowling team went home with a bevy of awards for their stellar performance at the Region XX Tournament on Friday, February 23 at Princess Lanes.

The day started with sophomore Jeremy Burton and freshman Hunter Stewart securing the runner-up spot in doubles, falling short of 1st by a narrow margin of 47 pins to a talented Westmoreland team, 1273-1226.

The next event of the day, singles, saw Jeremy Burton catch fire as he got in a rhythm to the tune of an overall 599 (194-194-211). He took home the singles championship by 10 pins over powerhouse Shane McNickle of CCAC North.

CCAC South wasn't done just yet. After a lunch break, the team picked up where Burton and Stewart started, taking home the runner-up award in the team event. Congratulations to the entire team on a remarkable showing!!
