Winseck, Tigers Take Final Conference Game over BC3

The Tigers put an exclamation point on a 5-5 conference record with a 9-5 win over Butler County Community College on Monday. The story again was a total team effort that saw 8 Tigers plate runs. Devin Cardello was strong over 7 innings and Angel Garriga closd out the final 2 innings to silence the Pioneer bats.

Freshman star Dylan Winseck continued his torrid pace on the year with a 6/6 day that included a home run, 2 triples, and 4 RBIs. If not for a diving play at shortstop in the 9th that held Winseck to a single, he would have posted his first career college cycle. Winseck now holds otherworldly stats that include a .578 AVG, .655 OBP, and 1.522 OPS to go with a 3.58 ERA over 32.2 innings on the mound. He has also scored 17 runs and stolen 13 bases in 16 tries over just 13 games.
